Vione M. Schwab, age 84, went to be with her Lord, Sunday, May 4, 2014.  

She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Schwab; son Thomas McCord; 
step-son Charles Schwab; parents Ivah and Emery Hayes; siblings Margaret 
Culver, Velma High, Emery ""Curly"" Hayes, Jr., Dales Hayes and Robert Hayes, 
and step-daughter-in-law Karen Schwab. She is survived by her children, Judy 
(Bud) Hansbarger, Dan McCord, Michael (Rhonda) McCord; step-sons, James Schwab, 
Gerald Schwab, Donald (Jan) Schwab, and Michael Schwab; grandchildren Traci 
(Darel) Alvarez, Matthew Marion (Jay Delmotte); step-grandchildren Kelly (Jim) 
Bungert, Jennifer Cooper, Brian Schwab, Jody Schwab, Josh Schwab, Michelle 
Schwab, Melinda Schwab and numerous great-grandchildren. 

Visitation with the family will be held 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 
2014, at Cook Funeral Home, 1889 Baldwin, Jenison, Michigan.  Funeral service 
will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2014, at Bauer Community Fellowship 
Church, 4852 Bauer Road, Hudsonville, Michigan. Rev. Robert Whinnen will be 
officiating.  Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Garden Shrines, Ionia, 
Michigan.  In honor of Vione, contributions may be made to the family to offset 
funeral costs.
