James Dale Schwab Sr. passed away in Roscommon on Oct. 29, 2012, at the age of 
76. He lived at North Higgins Lake for the past two years with his girlfriend, 
Marlene Frank. James enjoyed NASCAR and being a part of barbecue cooking 
contests, where he won many trophies. James is survived by his four children, 
Sherii Alexander, James Schwab Jr. and Millie Rodriguez, all from Texas; and 
John Schwab from Michigan. He will surely be missed. 

There will be a Memorial Lunch-in in memory of James Dale Schwab Sr. from 2 to 
5 p.m. November 17, 2012, at the Lyons-Muir Church, located on the corner of 
M-21 and Olmstead Road in Muir.
