Hastings Reminder - Sat. Jan. 12, 2013

LAKE ODESSA, MI- Betty June Scobey passed into the arms of Jesus the morning of 
December 3, 2012. She had suffered many health problems for years due to a car 
accident.

Betty was born in Lansing on October 4, 1948. She was adopted by Elwin and 
Alberta Curtis and they have preceded her passing away along with her brother, 
Gordie and sister, Sherrie.

Betty is survived by her son, Bradley Jordon; granddaughters, Brandi Kay and 
Emilie Wynette; sister, Bonnie (Barry) Donaldson; brother, Jerry (Pam) Curtis 
and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Betty was the secretary for Lakewood’s Mobile Home Estates in Lake Odessa where 
she resided for several years.

Betty loved her family and thanked God each day for her loving parents. Betty’s 
constant and loving companion kept her company, “Raisin”, her cat.

Due to her wishes, cremation has taken place and burial will be in Woodland 
Memorial Park.
