Shively, six miles north of St. Louis, on Thursday, September 10. The remains arrived at Muir on Saturday evening and were taken to the home of his nephew Dwight Scot, where the funeral services were conducted on Sunday by Rev. Bocher of Grand Rapids. The music was furnished by Mrs. A.M. Knapp and J.F. Dalzell with Miss Susie Dalzell at the organ. The remains were borne to their last resting place by Mr. Scott’s old neighbors, A.C. Strachan, P.L. and Wm. Charles, Wm. Bamborough, H.M. Brown and J.F. Dalzell, in North Plains cemetery and laid beside those of his wife, who preceded him only a few years ago. Deceased leaves to mourn his loss a daughter, Mrs. H.A. Shively, and a son J.H. Scott, of Mancelona, Mich.
