James Dwight Scott, 86, of North Plains Township, died Thursday morning at 3 
o’clock at Newhall Convalescent Home in Morley.  He was born November 7, 1967, 
the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Scott and has lived in North Plains Township for 
85 years where he was a well-known farmer.  His wife Idelia preceded him in 
death in 1946.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Laura Smith of Blanchard; two grandchildren, 
Jane Wright of Blanchard and Lyle Wright stationed at MacDill A.F.B. in 
Florida.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Shaw-
Rivett funeral home.

Burial will be at North Plains cemetery.
