The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, March 18, 1997

Betty M. Scott, 71 of Orleans, died March 7, 1997 at Butterworth Hospital in 
Grand Rapids.  She was born Sept. 22, 1925 in Detroit to Francis and Mary 
(Grygier) Roeback.

She is survived by her husband, Adam Scott of Orleans; one daughter, Marilyn 
and Dennis Stewart of Lowell; one son, Adam John Jr. and Honey Rae Scott of 
Belding; five granddaughters, Elizabeth Nichole Scott (9), Savannah Rae Scott 
(2), Kristin Elizabeth Griffith of Leesville, La., Aimee Lynn Stewart of 
Lowell and Julie Kay Stewart of Lowell; one great-grandson, Jonathan Michael 
(4) of Lowell; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be Saturday, March 23, 1997 at 11 a.m. at the Shiloh 
Community Church with the Rev. Kendall Harger presiding.
