The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, April 19, 1957

John C. Scott, former Ionia resident and late of Battle Creek, died Wednesday, 
April 17 after a lingering illness.

A local resident for a number of years, Mr. Scott had made his home with his 
granddaughter, Mrs. Betty Trumbull, since the death of his wife in 1942.

Friends may pay their respects at the Morris funeral home in Saranac, where 
services will be conducted Saturday afternoon, April 20, at 2 p.m.  Interment 
will be in Highland Park cemetery in Ionia.
