The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, April, 2010

Vera E. Scott, 89, of Ionia, passed away April 1, 2010.  She was born Jan. 24, 
1921 in Canada, the daughter of Frederick and Annie (Harding) Pryor.  She 
married Thomas E. Scott April 6, 1951 in Detroit.  He preceded her in death on 
Nov. 13, 2003.

She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church of Ionia, Ionia Moose Lodge, 
the Boston Saranac Historical Society and the Red Hat Society in Saranac. 

Vera is survived by her daughter Lennane (Larry) Klacking of Westland.  She 
was preceded in death by her parents.

As Vera requested, no funeral services will be held locally at this time.  
Funeral services will be held at later date.  In lieu of flowers you make 
memorial contributions to Humane Society of Ionia or the Boston Saranac 
Historical Society.
