The coroner of that area investigated and a fire department resuscitator was used for 35 minutes in an effort to revive him. He was an employee of the Michigan Bell Telephone company and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. Surviving him are his wife, Sylvia; four daughters, Mrs. Margaret Christner of Ypsilanti, Mrs. Veralee Lovejoy and Miss Mabel Scott of Lansing, and Miss Wilma Scott of Ann Arbor; three grandchildren; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Scott, of Stanton; three brothers, Joe of Lansing, Bernard of Detroit and John of Lyons; and three sisters, Mrs. Grace Dennis of Stanton, Mrs. Ruby Morgan of Lansing, and Mrs. Edna Horton of Royal Oak. His remains were removed to the Gorseline-Runciman funeral home in Lansing, where service will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.
