Ionia Daily Sentinel Std-Mon. January 25, 1904

William Scott, who was taken to the county house six weeks ago, died on Sunday 
evening at the age of 72 years. No particular disease is assigned; just a 
breaking down of the general system. Scott worked for the several Adgate Scott  
families of Berlin, nearly twenty years but for the three years last past, worked 
for William LaDow, north of the city. The Adgates offer to pay the burial if the 
body is not claimed by relatives.
