Ionia Sentinel Standard, 10 Feb 1966

Forrest E. Scott, 44, of 7415 Sayles road, died early Wednesday morning in 
Ionia County Memorial hospital following a heart attack.  He had been admitted 
about one hour previously.

Mr. Scott was employed as a welder at Gibson plant in Belding.  Born in Keene 
township, October 26, 1921, he was the son of Mrs. Bertha Scott of Saranac and 
the late Edwin Scott.

He is survived by his wife, Esther; three daughters, Mrs. Ross Sherman of 
Hastings, Mrs. Rex Powell of Lawton, Okla., and Mrs. Ronald Shephard of Mesa, 
Ariz.; two grandchildren; his mother; three brothers, Thomas Scott of Detroit, 
Robert of Slinge?, Wis., and Harry of Mesa, Ariz; and one sister, Mrs. Arden 
Meyers of Saranac.

Funeral service will be Saturday at Morris funeral home at 2 p.m. with burial 
at Saranac cemetery.  The Rev. James Frank will officiate.
