Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 14 Jan 1961

Mrs. Claude E. Scoville, 82, the former Lillian Blough, died at 11 o’clock
Friday night at a Grand Rapids nursing home following a cerebral hemorrhage
early last week.  She was born June 22, 1878.

She is survived by two brothers, Roy Blough of Clarksville, and Richard Blough
of Grand Ledge.

Funeral service will be held at Beattie funeral home Monday at 2 p.m. with
burial at Clarksville cemetery.  Rev. Paul Booger of Grandville will officiate.
 Bearers will be R.G. Price, Carl Seelig, Earle J. Ferney, C.S. Heaven, Edwin
Nash and Gardner Compton.

[Transcriber’s note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was
buried in Clarksville Cemetery.]
