Funeral mass for George William Scully, 75, of Grand Rapids was held Tuesday
morning at 10 a.m. from the S. S. Peter and Paul Church in Ionia with his
nephew, Father Michael Danner officiating.   Church organist was Mrs. Renate
Conrad.  Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Mr. Scully had been a resident of St. Ann’s Home in Grand Rapids for the past
eight years.

He is survived by six sisters, Mrs. W. G. (Geraldine) Hawley of Ionia; Mrs.
George W. (Elizabeth) Kuhn of Lansing; Mrs. R. K. (Ethlynne) Earl of St. Ignace,
Mrs. Adelaide Danner of Ionia, Mrs. D. L. (Patrice) Bailey of Traverse City and
Mrs. J. G. (Phyllis) LaChapelle of St. Ignace.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gerald Robert Scully
and James Anthony Scully.  Also surviving are 18 nieces and nephews and several
great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial fund has been established for the Christopher House where Father
Danner is director.  Contributions may be left at the Leddick Funeral Home.
