MRS. CHATTIE SCUTT
Mrs. Chattie Scutt, 77, a resident of Ionia township 15 years, died after a 
brief illness Saturday at 12:35 m at Ionia County Memorial hospital. She made 
her home with her son, Cleo on South State road where they have resided the 
past year. She previously lived int he Charlotte and Maple Rapids areas.

Mrs. Scutt was born January 27, 1884 in Hamilton township, Gratiot county, 
and was the daughter of Anthony and Lucinda Street. She was married June 28, 
1900, to Alonzo Scutt who survives.

Funeral service will be held at LeValley Methodist church Wednesday at 2 p.m. 
with the Rev. J. Lawrence Ward officiating. Burial will be at Union Home 
cemetery near Maple Rapids. The body reposes at the home at 516 South State 
road.
