Excerpts from Grand Rapids Obituary
Mrs. Irene (Gayle) Scutt-of Saginaw.
Died November 11, 1958-age 42 at Saginaw hospital after recent surgery.
Born December 22, 1915 at Jefferson City, MO., daughter of Lyman & Ethel 
Gayle.
Graduated Ionia High School.
Survived by her husband, Wendell; two sons, William of Phoenix, Ariz., & Tony 
of South Bend, Ind., a daughter, Lana at home, one sister Mrs. Martin Gia_mo 
of Grand Rapids, a brother William Gayle of New Jersey & her mother Mrs. 
Ethel Gayle of Grand Rapids.
Funeral services will be Thursday at Eggebeen funeral home, Grand Rapdis.

Mrs. Irene (Gayle) Scutt 
Funeral service was held at 3:0 p.m. Thursday at Eggebeen funeral home in 
Grand Rapids.
Rev. Eugene G. Slep, pastor of Immanuel Presbyterian church officiated.
Interment in Woodlawn cemetery, Grand Rapids,Mich.
Pallbearers were James Powers, Chancy Moore, Dale Morrison, Donald Martin, 
Roger Clements and Vernal Scutt.
Those attending the funeral were Mr and Mrs Doral Rountree, Mr and Mrs George 
Rountree, Mr and Mrs Francis Whitesides, Mr and Mrs Con Dolphin and daughter 
and Mr and Mrs John Morey of Ionia, Mr and Mrs Claude Gayle & family of 
Detroit and Mr And Mrs Curtis Rountree & family of Lansing.
