Ionia Sentinel, March 9, 1949

Mrs. George Seabrook, 73, life-long resident of Ionia, died at her home on Dye 
street, Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.  She had been ill for more than a year. 

Funeral services are to be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Meyers 
funeral home with the Rev. Wayne Davis, pastor of the Church of Christ, 
officiating.  Interment will be at the North Plains cemetery.

Mrs. Seabrook was born at Muir, April 22, 1875, the daughter of George and Mary 
Rands.  She was married to George Seabrook in 1898 and the couple lived on 
their farm in North Plains township until 1915 when they moved to Ionia.

Surviving are her husband, George Seabrook, two sons, Carl and Spencer, both of 
Ionia and two grandchildren.
