Seabrook was born on the 16th day of September at the farm home, north of Muir in 1898, being the oldest son of Mr and Mrs George Seabrook of Ionia. He leaves besides the bereaved parents, a brother Carl, who is located at Camp Benning, Georgia, and a young brother Spencer, who is at home and a grandmother, Mrs.Lorinda Seabrook of Ionia; also six uncles Joseph Fletcher of Muir, Chas. Rands of Portland, Milton Fedewa of Sunfield; Harry and Will Seabrook of Ionia and Howard Seabrook of Grand Rapids, besides several other immediate relatives and a host of very close friends. L.Ney Seabrook Until the age of 17 years, he lived with his parents at the farm home in North Plains, moving from there to Ionia, living here all the rest of his life with the exception of one year, which was spent at Charlotte, with his parents previous to their return to Ionia where he was living at the time of his death. He was a young man of sterling qualities, fine character and a lovable nature with a pleasant word for all with whom he associated, and was well liked by all who knew him. He departed this life at the age of 23 years and 2 months. He has been a member of the Loyal Order of Moose for the past four years and was a member in good standing in this order.
