Muir (From a Sentinel-Standard Correspondent)

The remains of Mrs. Lorinda Seabrook, a former resident of Muir who died in 
Grand Rapids Friday, were brought here Sunday afternoon for burial in the 
family lot in Oakwood cemetery.  Seventeen automobile loads of relatives and 
friends were in the funeral cortege.  Services were held at the Church of 
Christ.  Such of the friends here who had been apprised of the funeral 
arrangements gathered at the church and cemetery to pay their respects to the 
deceased, who was well known by reason of the family’s long residence here, 
where the four sons were reared, and which to them and the mother had lost 
little, if any, of its attractions as the old home town.
