The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, April 6, 1934
Mrs. Martha B. Seabrook, 49 years old, followed her husband within one week of 
his death when she died at the Community hospital, Friday morning following an 
accident in which the car she was riding in with her husband was truck by a 
Grand Trunk passenger train Friday afternoon, March 30, in Muir.  Mrs. 
Seabrook was taken to the Ionia hospital immediately after the accident and 
has been there since.

She was born in Muir, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Issac Farrar, attended the 
Muir school and was graduated there.  She married William R. Seabrook in 
1913.  They have been residents of Ionia for the past 23 years, living at 422 
Pleasant street.  She was an active member of the Royal Neighbors society in 
Ionia and a member of the Presbyterian church in Muir.  There are no immediate 
relatives surviving.

Funeral services will be held at the Stone funeral home Sunday afternoon at 
2:30 o’clock.  Rev. Paul Stewart will conduct the services.  The Royal 
Neighbors will attend in a body.  Burial will be at Muir cemetery.
