Dennis G. Seal, 68, of Grand Ledge, formerly of Portland,  passed away 
peacefully on June 5, 2009.  He was born on November 11, 1940 in Portland the 
son of Ernest and Genevieve (Chartrand) Seal. 

He was preceded in death by his brothers Gordy Seal and Pat Seal.  Surviving 
are his wife, Jan; son Jeff (Jessica) Seal of Portland and Autumn (Marty) 
Schrauben of Eagle; stepchildren Angela (Tim) Pieniaszeks of Georgia and 
Amanda (Taylor) Wells of Tennessee; grandchildren Joclyn, Gavin, Daphne, Trey, 
Brooke, Baron, and Jerrett; mother of his children and grandmother to his 
grandchildren, Joyce Matheny; siblings Carol (Al) Goodman, Patsy (Ron) 
Weatherbee, Marvin (Shirley) Seal and Thomas "Buck" (Janice) Seal; many nieces 
and nephews. 

A Memorial Service was conducted by Rev. Phillip Schrauben on June 9 at the 
Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland.
