Sentinel-Std. - Wednesday, Nov. 21, 1962

Funeral service for Ernest E. Seal, 59, of 241 Diving highway, Portland, will be 
held at 1:30 Friday afternoon at Neller funeral home in Portland. He died Monday 
evening at St. Lawrence hospital in lansing.

Mr. Seal worked as a machine operator at Danby Manufacturing company in Portland 
10 years.

He was a member of the Methodist church.

Surviving are his wife, Genevieve; five sons, Marvin of Lansing, and Gordon, 
Thomas, Dennis and Patrick of Portland; two daughters, Mrs. Carol Goodman of 
Portland and Patsy Seal of Grand Rapids: 12 grandchildren: three brothers, 
Evelyn Seal and Cecil Seal of Detroit, and Raginald Seal of Plymouth.

The Rev. Robert Treat will officiate and burial will be at Portland cemetery.

Bearers will be his sons, Gordon, Thomas, Dennis, Patrick and Marvin Seal, and 
his son-in-law, Alfred Goodman, Jr.
