Ionia Standard – Friday, 8 May 1914
Mrs. Mariette Seaman, 47 years old, died Monday a.m. at the home of her 
mother, Mrs. Geo. Pettit in Easton.  She leaves a husband, Henry Seaman, and 
two sons, Howard Waterman of Middleton and Floyd Waterman of Flint.  She is 
also survived by two sisters and two brothers.  The funeral was conducted by 
Rev. Chapman at Ms. Pettit’s home at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon.
