The Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, December 30, 1952
George E. Seaman, 79, of Grand Rapids died Monday December 29, at 5:30 p.m. in 
a Grand Rapids hospital.  He is the father of Mrs. Max Pierce of Ionia.  
Surviving besides Mrs. Pierce are a son, George L. Seaman of Grand Rapids; 
four grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Ann Burton of Seattle, Washington; and a 
brother, Herbert Seaman, of Seattle, Washington.

Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Bailey Church of Christ at 
Bailey.  Burial will be in the Seaman cemetery, Bailey.  Mr. and Mrs. Pierce 
left Tuesday morning for the Throop funeral home in Coopersville where the 
body reposes.
