MELVIN SEARING SERVICES THURSDAY

Melvin H. Searing 33 passed away unexpectedly at Pennock Hospital, Monday 
morning, a short time after admittance. He attended St.Johns school and was very 
active in High Schoo athletics, and has been a resident here since 1942.

Mr.Searing was a member of the St.Johns Congregational Church.

Surviving are his parents Mr and Mrs Harry Searing, two sisters Mrs Ben Williams 
of Okemos and Mrs Frank Clark of Lansing; and one brother O. Leroy Searing of 
Sarasota, Florida.

Funeral services were held Thursday (today) at 2 p.m. at the Pickens Funeral 
Chapel with burial Lakeside cemetery, Rev. A.J. Pitman officiated.
