Belding Banner-News - September 25, 1969

                              JESSIE SEARS

Funeral services for Jessie Sears, 72, 0f 12031 Verlin Drive, Route 1, Gowen 
will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Belding Church of Christ. Rev. Sid Baarda 
will officiate. Interment will be in River Ridge Cemetery, with arrangements by 
Huffman Funeral Home.

Mrs.Sears was born August 6, 1897 in Coral, the daughter of Celia Earl and 
Julius Hendricksen, She died September 22 in Belding Hospital. She was married 
to Fred Sears who preceded her in death in 1941. She had been a lifetime 
resident of the Belding area and was a member of the Belding Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs.Lester (Betty) Miller of Greenville, and 
Mrs.Margaret Yeasley of Belding; a son Fredrick of Gowen; a brother Earl 
Hendricksen of Trufant; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
