Ionia Sentinel Standard – Monday, 12 May 1952

Arley L. Secoy, 78, of 324 Adams Street died at the Ionia County Memorial 
hospital Saturday, May 10, after being a patient there for three days.  He was 
born May 18, 1873 in Ohio and had been a resident of Ionia for 25 years.  He 
was employed at the Hayes Body shops at one time.

Surviving are a daughter, Lillian Carr of Flint; a son Ray of Grand Rapids; 
and a brother Jasper of Lakeview.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 pm at the Myers funeral home.  Dr. 
Howard A. Smith will officiate.  Burial will be in the family lot, Lakeview 
Cemetery.
