Ionia Sentinel Standard, 4 & 7 Jan 1982

Mrs. Alice M. Sedick, 81, of Tubbs Lake, Rural Mecosta, died Saturday at her
residence.  She was born in Easton Township, Ionia County, on Aug. 14, 1900, the
daughter of Eugene and Addie Bradford Rowley.  She was married to James Sedick
and they made their home in Ionia until he retired from Michigan Reformatory in
1957.  They then moved to Central Lake to make their home and three years ago
she moved to Tubbs Lake.  He preceded her in death in 1969.

She is survived by one brother, Lyle Rowley of Gowen, and two sisters, Mrs.
Lucille Saunders of Greenville and Mrs. Irma Rhodes, of Corvallis, Oregon.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. from the
Leddick Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Dow of the First Christian Church
officiating.  Burial will be in Easton Cemetery.  The family will be at the
funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services for Alice M. Sedick, 81, of rural Mecosta, were held Wednesday
afternoon at 1 p.m. from the Leddick Funeral Home in Ionia.  The Rev. Ronald Dow
of the First Christian Church officiated.  Organist was Josephine Barna.

Committal services were held at the funeral home with later interment in Easton
Cemetery.  Honorary bearers were Budde Arnold, Wayne Rhodes, Robert McCoy, Lyle
Rowley, Dan McCoy and Terry McCoy.
