Sedore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sedore, was born March 2, 1891, in Ionia county, Mich., and departed this life July 21, 1942, at his farm home in Sebewa township after an illness of about one and one-half years. He spent the early part of his life in Berlin township near Morrison lake. He was married to Vera Morrow on February 28, 1912, and to this union were born six children, Lorna (Mrs. Daniel Durkee), Gail, Neil, Doreen and Lynn, a daughter Doris dying in 1918. He was a kind loving husband and father, a generous and honest neighbor. In his sickness he was a very patient sufferer. He leaves besides his wife and children, four granddaughters and one grandson, his mother, Mrs. May Sedore, two sisters, Mrs. Myrl Sleeper and Mrs. Fern Miske, one brother Orwin, besides a host of other relatives and friends who will greatly miss him. As mentioned in The Wave last week, the funeral was held from the late home Thursday afternoon with the Rev. Donald J. Holbrook officiating. The Rev. Holbrook also sang appropriate songs accompanied by Mrs. Harold Funk.
