Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. June 22, 1961

David J. Sedore 10 Dies in Lansing.
David J. Sedore, ten year old son of the late Maynard Sedore passed away at his home
at 612 Jolly rd., Lansing early Saturday morning after a lingering illness. He spent
his life in Lansing and was baptized and attended the Mt. Hope Methodist church.

Surviving are his foster parents Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Sleeper of Lansing; a sister
Bonnie Jo, eleven years old, two foster brothers, LeRoy and Leonard, and two foster sisters,
Mary Lou and Maria Sue Sleeper, all at home.

Funeral services were held on Monday at 1:30 at the Pickens funeral chapel with
burial in lakeside cemetery.  Rev. Marvin Zimmerman of the Mt. Hope Methodist church
officiated.
