Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. September 23, 1965

Services Held for Vera P. Sedore
Mrs. Vera P. Sedore 76, passed away Thursday morning at the Osteopathic 
Hospital, Grand Rapids after a long period of ill health. She had been 
hospitalized for two weeks.

A native of South Dakota she came to this area when 19 years old with her 
parents E.J. and Ellen Morrow.

She married Frank Sedore on February 28, 1912 and they lived on a farm in the 
area before his death in 1942.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs.Daniel (Lorna) Durkee and Mrs.Clyde (Doreen) 
Shoemaker, Jr., of Lake Odessa; three sons, Gail and Lynn of Lake Odessa and 
Neil of Grand Ledge; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister Mrs Roy 
(Ethel) Jackson and two brothers Jasper Morrow of Lake Odessa and Howard Morrow 
of Kalamazoo.

Funeral services were held on Saturday at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel. 
Rev. Lowell Harris of Lansing officiated.
