Mrs. Vera P. Sedore, 76, of 1657 Jordan Lake avenue died Thursday morning at 4 
o’clock in Grand Rapids Osteopathic hospital.  She was a patient two weeks but 
had been in ill health a long time.  She was born in South Dakota, June 29, 
1889, daughter of L. J. and Ellen Meyers Morrow, and came to Lake Odessa area at 
the age of 19 with her parents and resided there 57 years.  She was married 
February 28, 1912 to Frank Sedore and following his death July 21, 1942 moved to 
the village. 

Mrs. Sedore is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Daniel Durkee and Mrs. Clyde 
Shoemaker, Jr., of Lake Odessa three sons, Gail and Lynn Sedore of Lake Odessa 
and Neil of Grand Ledge; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; one sister 
Mrs. Roy Jackson and two brothers, Jasper and Howard Morrow, all of Lake Odessa.

Funeral service will be at Pickens funeral chapel Saturday at 1:30 pm with 
burial at Lakeside cemetery.
