Seeliger of 660 North Jackson street died at 2 o’clock Tuesday morning. She has been ill since December 1954. Mrs. Seeliger was born on Jones street in Ionia, November 25, 1895, the daughter of Ludwig and Bertha Hass. She has lived her entire life here. In 1920 she married William Seeliger. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran church, Ladies Aid, Mission and Charity Circle and the Luther Society of the church. Survivors are her husband, William, one daughter, Mrs. William Walther of New Orleans, La., one grandson, three sisters, Mrs. Ida Hass of East Tawas, Mrs. Bertha Kurth of Fountain City, Wis., and Mrs. Otto Rubach, and one brother, William Hass of Owosso. Funeral services will be at the Boynton funeral home Friday afternoon, July 8, at 2:30. The Rev. Eric Cash will officiate. Interment will be in the family lot at Highland Park cemetery.
