Sentinel-Std. - Monday, Oct. 10, 1938

Roy Seely, 17 year-old Saranac senior high school student died in the Lake 
Odessa hospital Sunday evening, October 9, where he was taken three weeks ago 
for ruptured appendix.

He was born in Michigan where he has lived since. His mother died four years 
ago. Surviving are a stepfather, Titus Winslow of Berlin township, whom the 
deceased lived with.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Methodist church at Saranac 
Wednesday morning, October 13 at 10 o'clock with the Rev. Frank Loomis, pastor 
officiating. Mrs. Ethel Loomis will be in charge of the music. Interment will be 
in Walled Lake cemetery, near Detroit, where his mother is buried.
