Ionia County News, 22 Jan 1959

Roy Seese, 60, of Clarksville area, died Thursday, January 15, at his home on 
Bell Road, after an illness of several weeks.  He was a lifelong resident of 
the Clarksville area and was born in Bowne township, near Logan Lake, the son 
of Lewis and Amanda (Blough) Seese.  For several years he was employed by the 
Miller Plumbing & Heating at Clarksville.

Surviving are his wife, Frieda (Shaeffer); five daughters, Mrs. Irene White of 
Apalachicola, Florida, Mrs. Katherine Dumas of Largo, Florida, Mrs. Lloyd 
(Marie) Link of Melbourne, Florida, Mrs. Walter (Mary) Roush and Mrs. Monte 
(Nancy) Sauers, both of Lake Odessa; three sons, Gerald, Robert and Bernard, 
all of Clarksville; two brothers, Carlos of Clarksville and Francis of Alto; 
and 19 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, January 18, at the Clarksville Bible church 
with burial in the Mennonite cemetery, Bowne township.  Rev. C.A. Noffsinger 
and Rev. Daniel Zook officiated.  Beattie funeral home at Clarksville was in 
charge of the arrangements.
