The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, April 8, 1985
Carlos Seese, 88, formerly of Clarksville, died Saturday in the Barry County 
Medical Facility.  He was born February 26, 1897, in Bowne Township, Kent 
county, the son of Lewis and Amanda Blough Seese.  He was married to Izola 
Eldred; she preceded him in death in 1965.  

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Keith (Elithe) Fox of Lake Odessa; a foster 
son, Harry Wilsey of Belleville; seven grandchildren; and 12 great 
grandchildren.  One granddaughter, Linda Wilsey, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Koops Funeral Chapel, 
Clarksville, with the Rev. Arthur Ruder officiating.  Burial will be in Bowne 
Mennonite Cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 
p.m.
