Adela Mary Seibel, formerly of Portland, age 94, passed away on Tuesday, 
February 1, 2011.  She was born on March 26, 1916 in Fowler, Michigan the 
daughter of John and Mary (Pung) Koenigsknecht. 

Adela was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; daughter, Mary A. 
Cantu; grandson, Matthew Cantu; 4 brothers and 4 sisters.  Surviving are her 
daughters Carol A. (Jack) Shepard of Howell and Janice R. (Dario Zaffarano) 
Seibel of Nevada, IA; 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 3 great great 
grandchildren; son-in-law, Fernando Cantu of Houston, TX; sister, Marcella 
Klein of Lansing. 

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, 
February 5, 2011 at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Rev. Larry King, 
presiding.  Rite of Committal will follow the luncheon at St. Mary's Catholic 
Cemetery, Westphalia.  The family will receive friends 3:00-7:00 p.m. on 
Friday, February 4, 2011 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge 
St., Portland and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass at St. Patrick 
Catholic Church on Saturday.
