She was born in Bavaria, Germany, October 20, 1877. She was married to John L. Seidelman, October 4, 1898. They came to Michigan from Wisconsin and settled in Ionia County. They lived in Orleans Township for four years and in 1919 moved to their present farm home. Mr. and Mrs. Seidelman celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1948. Mr. Seidelman died in 1956. She was a member of Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church of Ionia and a former member of the Friendship Class. For 27 years up until the past year, she furnished flowers for the church. Surviving are two sons, George of route three, Ionia, and John of Detroit; four daughters, Mrs. LeValdin Hull, Mrs. Dewey Beach, and Mrs. Freda Slocum, all of Ionia; and Mrs. Elmer Coon, of Detroit; 18 grand children; 17 great grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Albert Johnson, of Ionia; Mrs. Art Washburn, and Mrs. Chester Coble, both of Aurora, Illinois, and Mrs. William Kruger, of South Bend, Indiana. Funeral service was held Wednesday, July 24 at the Zion EUB Church under auspices of the Stone-Kauffman Funeral Home. Rev. Herbert Stressman officiated, assisted by the Rev. John F. Price. Interment was in the family lot in Easton Cemetery.
