November 14, 2020 SEIDELMAN David George Seidelman age 84, of Ionia passed away November 3, 2020 in Ionia. He was born June 30, 1936 in Ionia, the son of George and Margaret (Mitchell) Seidelman. David married Janet Waters June 15, 1956. She preceded him in death in 2018. David was a life time member of the NRA and a member of North LeValley school board. He taught Junior rifle and Hunters Safety. He love hunting and fishing, trips to Colorado, Alaska and winter trips to Arizona. He enjoyed pistol shooting and Busy Bee Wood Working. David established the Ionia County Animal Shelter ran Seidelman Apiaries family business. He served his country in the United States Army. David is survived by his sons, Michael (Sandra) Seidelman of Kingsley, MI., Paul (Jacque) Seidelman of McBride, MI and Phillip (Mary) Seidelman of Ionia; brothers, Herber (Mildred) Seidlelman of Orleans and Jim (Karen) Seidelman of Charlotte; sisters, Kay Whan of Byron Center and Julia Thayer of Florida; ten grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; daughter-in-law, Kari Ratliff; and sister-in-law's, Barbara (Dorrance) Hurlbut and Wilma Waters, and brother-in-law, Lowell Lytle. He was preceded in death by his parents's wife; son, Robert J. Seidelman, sisters, Phyllis Sypher and Barbara Lytle; father and mother-in-law, Royce and Evelyn Waters and brother-in-law's, Robert Waters, Jon Whan, Keith Sypher and Gerald Thayer. Cremation has taken place and services will be private. Interment Easton Cemetery. Services in care of Lake funeral Home in Ionia. Memorial Contributions may be made in David's name to Easton Church 4970 Potter's Rd., Ionia, Mich. 48846.
