The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, November 16, 1959
Louis J. Seigel, 78, of St. Johns died Saturday due to a heart attack while 
shoveling snow in front of his business establishment in St. Johns.  Mr. and 
Mrs. Seigel have owned and operated a service station motel on M21 in St. 
Johns for many years.  Mrs. Seigel is a sister of Mrs. Howard Dick of Muir.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, one daughter, Mrs. Harold Rademacher of St. 
Johns; five grandchildren, one brother, William Seigel; one sister, Mrs. C. G. 
McGlinehey, both of Flint but now in Florida.

Services will be held from the Osgood funeral home in St. Johns at 3 p.m. 
Tuesday.  Interment will be in the St. Johns cemetery.
