The Portland Review, Thursday, April 30, 1953

Bernard Selback, 48, who died at Grand Rapids Thursday, was a brother of Mrs. 
Francis Lawless, of Portland, and a former resident of Ionia, having moved to 
Grand Rapids two years ago.  His wife, Jean, survives, and there are two 
sons.  His mother also survives, as do two sisters, Mrs. Lawless, and Mrs. 
Ferd Rochon of Ludington.  Funeral services were conducted on Monday at 10:00 
am. at St. Anthony’s church, Grand Rapids.
