WM. SELLECK Aged Husband Unable to Accompany Remains of Life Companion to Grave Funeral services for Mrs. William F. Selleck, who passed away shortly before noon, last Thursday, were held from the residence, Sunday, in charge of Rev. V. C. Webb, pastor of the Baptist church. Owing to his feeble condition of Judge Selleck was unable to accompany the remains of his life companion to the cemetery where she was laid to rest beside her son, Charles, who was killed in an automobile accident in Grand Rapids, in November, 1917. Mrs. Selleck was born in Batavia, New York, September 8, 1837. When a young girl she moved, with her parents, to Hillsdale County, where she was married on November 17, 1864, to Mr. Selleck. Shortly afterward they located in Ohio, remaining there until 1878 when they came to Portland. Besides the husband she is survived by one son, Mervin, of Portland, and two sisters, Mrs. Amy Haner, of Highland Park, and Mrs. Sarah Marsh, of Redlands, California.
