Ionia Sentinel, Thursday, May 1, 1958

Mrs. Myrtle A. Selleck, 76, of Orleans, died early Thursday morning at 
Greenville Memorial hospital where she had been a patient one day.

Born January 14, 1882 in Montcalm county, she was the daughter of Jeremiah and 
Elizabeth (Phillips) Buckley.  She was married to Charlie Selleck December 14, 
1906 in Vestaburg.  Mr. Selleck died in 1848.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Orville (Hazel) Bollinger of Orleans, Mrs. 
Miles (Sylvia) Church of Detroit, Mrs. Gordon (Addie) Higbee of Orleans, Miss 
Ethel Selleck and Mrs. Hattie Tatosian, both of Lansing; five sons, J.B. 
Selleck of route 3, Ionia, Cleve of Orleans, Charles H. of Fenwick, Jerry G. of 
Ionia, and Dean of Hastings; 22 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one 
sister, Mrs. Lottie Bollinger of Vestaburg.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Myers funeral home.  The 
Rev. Luther Brokaw of Belding will officiate.  Interment is to be at Woodard 
Lake cemetery.
