Garnet H. Selleck, 95, of Hubbardston, passed away Monday, August 6, 2007.  She 
was born February 17, 1912 in Newaygo, the daughter of Stanley and Rose Gulmire 
Sweetman.  Garnet was a graduate of Palo High School and Ionia County Normal.  
She retired from the Gibson Corp. in Belding after 27 years of service. 

She was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters.  She is survived by 
her children, Darlene and Frank Selleck Kern of Lansing, Frank C. Selleck of 
Orleans, J. Brian Selleck of Bloom field, N.J., and Jon and Betty Selleck of 
Belding; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many extended family 
members.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, August 16, at Shiloh Community 
Church, 8197 Heth St., Orleans, with Pastor J. Brian Selleck officiating.  
Memorial contributions may be made to Carson City Hospice.
