Ionia Sentinel-Standard
Private funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Blanche Semo, 75, of 1011 West Lincoln 
who died Saturday at Blodgett Memorial hospital, Grand Rapids, were Monday at 11 
am at Stone-Kauffman funeral home.  Officiating was Rev. Theodore Forbes.  
Bearers were Paul Harwood, Laurence Emelander, Floyd Rice, Jerry Zander, Mike 
Zander and Jack Guild.  Interment was at Easton cemetery.

Mrs. Semo was born November 25, 1896, in Indiana, the daughter of Charlie and 
Sophie Bailey.  She was married to Peter Semo July 2, 1907, at Toledo, Ohio.  
She had lived at her present residence over 40 years having come here from 
Chicago, Ill.  She and her husband operated the Farmers market.  Surviving are 
her husband, Peter and sister, Mrs. Esther Piper of Peru, Ind.
