He was born March 4, 1976, in Hanover, Pennsylvania, the son of John David and Dorothy Irene (Weaver) Sensenig. On March 8, 1998, he married Sarah Ann Martin in Pennsylvania. He owned and operated countryside Sale and Service on Stage Road in rural Ionia. Philip was a member of the Maple River Mennonite church. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Sarah Ann; children: Joel, Lorinda, Arlin, Naomi, Irene, Ellen, Nathaniel, Louis, and Sheldon; his parents; brothers; Edward (Lois Ellen) of Shippensburg, PA. Keith (Susan) of Chambersburg, PA. Marvin (Becky) of Hartley, DE, Dennis (Miriam) of Mio, MI; sisters; Violet (Nathan) Huber of Breckinridge, KY, Sonya (Clayton) Derstine of Canby, CA, Wanda (Ronald) Horst of St. Louis, MO, Audrey (Timothy) Weaver of Breckinridge, KY, Elva (Melvin) Derstine of Belle Fourche, SD. Kathy (James) Eberly of Port Republic, Va., Phebe (David Leon) Martin of Mio, MI: brothers and sisters-in-law; Willis (Linda) Martin of Myerstown, PA, Nancy Jane (Loren) Petre of Slatington, PA. Willis Lynn (Carol) Martin of Lyons, NY., Vernon (Cheryl) Martin of Guatemala, Leonard (Amanda) Martin of Myerstown, PA; and many nieces nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by 3 nephews and 1 niece. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at 10 a.m. at the Shiloh Community Church, 8197 Heth St. Orleans, MI. 48865 with the Maple Rive Mennonite Ministry officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8 PM and Wednesday from 1-4 and 5-7 PM at the Shiloh Community church. Interment will take place at the Maple River Mennonite cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions in Philip's memory to his family. The family is being served by the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home of Charlotte.
