          SENTERS (LAKE ODESSA) -
David C. Senters, aged 57, of Lake Odessa, MI (formerly of Kentwood) went to be with
his Lord unexpectedly 
Sunday, March 22, 1998 at St. Mary's Hospital, Grand Rapids.  He was born November
7, 1940 in Hastings, MI 
the son of Allen E. and Margaret E. (Karrarr) Senters.  He married Shelley George on
December 26, 1985 in 
Grand Rapids David was an entrepreneur in the mobile home, auto industry, and land
development.  He was 
also a Graduate of the Realtors institute.  Surviving are his wife.  Shelley of
Grand Rapids; three sons, Marc 
Senters of Brighton, Bret (Stephanie) Senters of Sunfield, Drew Senters of Battle
Creek; two daughters. Paige 
and Penny of Grand Rapids, four grandchildren, Ashley, Joel, Adam and Aaron; Marcy
Senters-Dobie, the 
mother of his sons two brothers, Phillip Senters of Penneylvania.  Stephen Senters
of Lake Odessa; two 
nephews. Brian of Lake Odessa and Philip of Pennsylvania.  Funeral services will be
held 1 pm Thursday, 
March 26, 1998 at the Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa (616) 374-8221) with Rev.
Mark Ralph officiating 
with interment in Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa.  Visitation Tuesday 7 to 9 pm and
Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 
to 9pm at the funeral home.
