Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Mon. March 14, 1955

Mrs. Myrtie B. Sessions, 81, the widow of Clyde E. Sessions, who died in 1934, 
died Saturday morning at the Methodist Home in Elyria, Ohio, where she had 
resided the last six years.

She was born December 20, 18873, in Berlin township, the daughter of Levi J. 
and Amy Barnard, pioneer Berlin township settlers. Mrs. Sessions lived in Ionia 
until 1934 when she moved to Dayton, Ohio.

Mrs. Sessions is survived by two sons, J. Alden Sessions of Canton, Ohio and 
Douglas L. Sessions of Stuart, Florida; five  grandchildren and eithg great-
grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. J. Morse of Breckenridge, Missouri, and one 
brother, Elgie Barnard of Tampa, Florida. 

Funeral services were conducted at the Dicken funeral home, Elyria, Ohio, 
Monday at 10 a.m. The body will repose at the Stone-Kauffman funeral home 
Tuesday from 9 until 11 a.m. and prayer services will be held at 11 o'clock 
with the Rev. Heath Goodwin officiating.

Interment will be at Highland Park cemetery.
