Mrs. Myrtie B. Sessions, 81, the widow of Clyde E. Sessions, who died in 1934, 
died Saturday morning at the Methodist Home in Elyria, Ohio, where she had 
resided the last six years.

She was born December 20, 1873, in Berlin township, the daughter of Levi J. and 
Amy Barnard, pioneer Berlin township settlers. Mrs. Sessions lived in Ionia 
until 1934 when she moved to Dayton, Ohio.

Mrs. Sessions is survived by two sons, J. Alden Sessions of Canton, Ohio and 
Douglas L. Sessions of Stuart, Florida; five grandchildren and eight great-
grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. J. Morse of Breckenridge, Missouri, and one 
brother, Elgie Barnard of Tampa, Florida.

Funeral services were conducted at the Dicken funeral home, Elyria, Ohio, 
Monday at 10 a.m. The body will repose at the Stone-Kauffman funeral home 
Tuesday from 9 until 11 a.m. and prayer services will be held at 11 o'clock 
with the Rev. Heath Goodwin officiating.

Interment will be at Highland Park cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtie B. Sessions, who died Saturday at Elyria Ohio, 
were conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Stone-Kauffman funeral home by the Rev. 
Heath T. Goodwin.

Pallbearers were John Loomis, Arthur Smith, Alden Smith and Dean Tyler. Burial 
was in Highland Park cemetery.

Those from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. John A. Sessions of Canton, Ohio, 
Clare W. Bliss and Mrs. L.L. McElmurry of Lansing, Harvey Lowrey of Saranac, 
Mrs. Edith C. Mains, Mr. and Mrs. Lester M. Campbell, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Tyler 
of Portland and Mr. and Mrs. Pearl (Hal) of Palo.
