Daily Sentinel - Tuesday, June 21, 1921

Word of the death of Frank A. Sessions, a former Ionia resident, at the hospital 
at Niagara Falls was received this morning. The body will be brought to Ionia 
Wednesday and funeral services will be held at the Bradley Mortuary Thursday 
afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Highland Park. Mr. Sessions was for 
twenty-five years, treasurer of the First National bank and left that 
institution in 1898, two years after it became the State Savings bank. He was as 
son of Alonzo Sessions and was born on the old Sessions farm in Berlin township. 
Since leaving Ionia he has been in various states, for about 15 years, being in 
Reading, Pennsylvania, where he was in business. He is a brother of Mr. A.P. 
Loomis of Ionia and Mrs. E.M. Shelton, state of Washington, who are the only two 
living members of the Sessions family. Mr. Sessions attended the Ionia school 
and M.A.C. where he graduated. He never married.
