The Ionia Standard, Friday, April 23, 1897
Mrs. Anna S., wife of John Sessions, died at the farm home in Berlin township 
early Tuesday morning, after a protracted illness.  She was aged 55 years.  
The funeral was attended from her late home on Wednesday at 2 p.m.  Rev. J. T. 
Oxtoby, D. D., was the officiating clergyman.  Interment was in Highland 
Park.  Mrs. Sessions was a most estimable woman, a good neighbor and mother.  
The bearers were her two sons, Clyde and Roy, James R. Taylor, a son-in-law, 
and Frank A. Sessions.
